AMDA sees new vehicle sales of 1.35 million units in 2023

The Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA), which brings together thousands of new vehicle dealers in the country, forecast the sale of 1.35 million units by 2023, 22.9 percent or around 250,600 more units compared to 2022, its president said today. Guillermo Rosales Zarate.

"The forecast for the end of the year is 1,345,101 units, that is an increase of 22.9 percent compared to last year," Rosales Zárate responded to an express question from SteelOrbis about the sales forecast for this year in Mexico.
 
In the first seven months of the year, sales were 743,930 units, 23.6 percent or 141,908 more vehicles compared to the same period in 2022. In July alone, the annual increase was 32.6 percent, the largest increase in the last 25 years for the same month.
